popular questions

We want your experience with our botanical goods to be as intentional as the process of making them. Below are the most common inquiries regarding our handcrafted collections.

Because we are a small-batch studio, please allow 3-5 business days for your order to be carefully packaged and shipped from our studio.

Our candles are made with 100% natural beeswax, which carries a subtle, sweet honey aroma. We do not add synthetic fragrances, though some tapers may be dressed with garden-grown botanicals like lavender or sage.

Our artisanal paper and cards are designed for the tactile beauty of gentle handwriting, calligraphy, and non water-based paints. Due to the recycled fibers and embedded botanicals, we recommend testing a single sheet before attempting to use other tools. Never use sharp ballpoint pens or sharpened pencils.

Our Mediterranean herbs—including lavender, rosemary, and sage—are harvested and preserved to create aromatic linen sachets and hand-bound herb bundles. These bundles (similar to traditional smudge sticks) are designed to bring the grounding essence of the earth into your domestic rituals. As always, never leave anything burning unattended.

The sachets can be used in bags, cars, closets or under your pillow!

We provide coupon codes often and would love to share them with you if you subscribe to our newsletter or reach out to us via the contact options.

Delivery & Gifting

Absolutely. If you are sending a gift bundle directly to a loved one, leave your message in the ‘Order Notes’ at checkout. We will hand-write it on a scrap of our artisanal floral paper to ensure your gift feels personal and warm.

Each of our curated gift bundles is designed to be a complete sensory experience, arriving at your doorstep (or your loved one’s) ready for gifting. Every bundle includes:

Hand-Wrapped Packaging: We use recycled kraft paper and natural cotton twine, ensuring the unboxing feels as intentional as the goods inside.

A Botanical Flourish: A small, dried sprig of lavender or rosemary from our Oregon garden is tucked into the ribbon of every parcel.

Story & Care Card: A handwritten-style card explaining the heritage of the items—detailing the artisanal process and how the items can be used and cared for.

Your Personal Message: If you are sending this directly to a recipient, we will hand-write your note on a scrap of our signature floral paper. Just leave your message in the ‘Order Notes’ at checkout.

Because our paper is crafted from recycled fibers and garden botanicals, it has a beautiful, ‘toothy’ texture. We recommend using a felt-tip pen, a calligraphy nib with a steady ink flow, or even a soft graphite pencil. Very sharp ballpoint pens can occasionally snag on the natural fibers, so a ‘slow’ writing tool best complements the slow-made nature of the paper.

We believe in a ‘low-waste’ philosophy. Your orders are tucked into recycled boxes, cushioned with biodegradable materials, and tied with natural twine. We reuse and recycle responsibly whenever possible!

Currently, we ship all orders via USPS. However, keep an eye on our social media for local Portland Area pop-up events where you can shop our collection in person.

Due to the artisanal and delicate nature of our handmade paper and botanical products, all sales are final. If an item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately so we can make it right.

Because we work with 100% natural beeswax and real garden-grown botanicals, no two items are identical. Variations in color and texture are the ‘fingerprints’ of the maker and the season—a sign of a truly artisanal product.

Our botanical-dressed candles are designed to be as beautiful as they are functional. As the candle burns, the dried petals and herbs will naturally settle into the wax pool but can burn quickly and sputter occasionally. To ensure a safe, clean burn, always trim your wick to 1/4 inch before lighting, watch closely, keep the wax pool clear of any large botanical debris that may drift too close to the flame, and NEVER leave candles unattended.
